Julie Ott's name is synonymous with the tourism industry. Joining the Signature team in 1999 with over twenty years of experience in the New Orleans Convention and Travel Industry, Julie brings in talents from all fields of the industry. Julie's past positions with restaurants and riverboats has brought experience from the suppliers' side to Signature. She served as Director of Sales of the famous Court of Two Sisters restaurant and the esteemed Commander's Palace Family of Restaurants where her primary responsibility was to generate and maintain new business. She accomplished this by cultivating a rapport with local DMCs, as well as national and international wholesaler, sales, catering, and Convention Services staffs at local hotels as well as Corporate and Incentive Meeting Planners. Although she enjoys entertaining friends at home, cooking and gardening, she has served as chairman and member of numerous local industry organizations and annual conventions including National Association of Catering Executives, Travel South, American Bus Association, National Tour Association, Hospitality Education Networking Association, the New Orleans Metropolitan Convention & Visitors Bureau. She holds the designation of Destination Management Certified Professional (DMCP) and Certified Meeting Professional(CMP).
