New Orleans WOWs PCMA

New Orleans was proud to host PCMA for their 2009 Annual Meeting.

In addition to Signature DMC becoming a Silver Sponsor for the event, our own James B. Williams had the honor of chairing the Volunteer Committee for the PCMA 2009 Annual Meeting in New Orleans.

James was appointed to the position by the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau. His responsibilities included a year long of pre-planning to recruit volunteers, maintain the volunteer database and finally to execute the meeting needs of the over 300 volunteers per PCMA instructions.

Daily volunteer management during the 5 day conference was required as well as constant communication to the volunteers with regards to their responsibilities

Over 3000 Meeting planners were welcomed into the city with the chistening of a brand new Mardi Gras venue which really blew guests away and event closed with an impressive event on the NFL turf of the Superdome featuring big name local talent including Irma Thomas and the Neville Brothers.

New Orleans hosted one of the most highly regarded PCMA Annual Meetings ever and James' position on the committee was a major part of its success.
