Seated Dinner at the Sugar Mill New Orleans for 500 Guests

Music was the theme for a recent dinner at the Sugar Mill venue directly across the street from the Convention Center. The entire venue was draped in white and creative lighting was used to saturate the colors. Monochromatic jazz images were projected all around the room using multiple images.

The focus of the event was the circular stage which was emblazed with piano keys all along its perimeter. The dance floor was delineated by an overhead basket weave treatement and chandeliers were hung from the ceiling. Both were enhanced by lighting and added a soft contrasting touch to the industrial ceiling.

In order to combat the "Sea of Tables" look, a variety of table configurations were used. The majority of seating used round piano key tables which were lit from within. Square tables with beautiful burn-out linens were used to break up the pattern and add a varied texture to the event.

The band played throughout the event as guests dined and enjoyed a night of music in the the BIG EASY.
